Squelch was set up to deliver high quality audio mastering without the high end pricing and I have built a reputation solely through existing clients and friends who have recommend my services after having used it themselves and also after hearing my work for Cactus Island Recordings which I co-run, so if you would like a small sample of some of my work then please check out some of the preview tracks on Cactus Island Recordings.

What I offer is final mixdown mastering where all the elements are combined into a simple left/right signal, this is great for 90% of projects and is how the majority of commercial mastering in performed. I also offer complete mixing and mastering of your individual tracks allowing these to be processed and balanced seperately at the mastering stage. So for example I could then widen the stereo spread of a synth/guitar without affecting the drums or add top end to the vocals without changing the rest of the mix. I am also able to spend much more time making the job much more personal than other bigger facilities can often offer and I am less generic than many other companies as, although I have worked and enjoy working with many Indie/Rock bands, my roots lie in electronic music from IDM, D&B, Dubstep, Grime and Electro which I have been working with for 20 years! So you can be assured that my ears are tuned to the style you are hoping for and not a generic out-the-box master, giving a level of creative mastering when required to suit the style of sound you are hoping to achieve.
